PDAge is located in Mesa, Arizona, just to the east of Phoenix. We've been
building Pocket PC applications since early 2002... way back when the Compaq iPAQ
was on every executive's 'must have' list. Our humble beginnings saw us building
our first Pocket PC application for Schuck & Sons Construction Co... a simple
quality inspection application for their framing operation. In February 2002,
that application went live and almost immediately began improving the efficiency
of their quality inspection program. This application was featured in their
winning a 2004 National Housing Quality Award.
Shortly thereafter, PDAge opened the door to jobsite scheduling by building custom
Pocket PC scheduling applications for Superstition Carpentry, Santan Roofing, and
Younger Brothers Construction. Schuck & Sons also expanded their use of
the quality inspection application to their truss and trim operations. A myriad
of other custom Pocket PC applications were built for clients in primarily the home
building industry.
In April 2004, PDAge launched its first retail product, Pocket Jobsite® Inspector (PJI). This flagship product
quickly became popular in the environmental health and safety industry, insurance
industry, and government, as well as the more traditional (for us) home building
industry. The original PJI was a standalone product with the basic features
necessary to create your own inspection forms, download them to your Pocket PC,
do your inspections, upload the results to your desktop, and run reports.
Much has changed since then. Pocket Jobsite Inspector v3.0 is an enterprise-caliber,
multi-user system with many advanced features and is without a doubt the most superior
product of its kind.
