        ABOUT US

Pocket Jobsite® Inspector is PDAge's flagship product, and is revolutionizing the ways in which companies, universities, laboratories, governments, agencies and other organizations perform quality and safety inspections. No more clipboards, static paper forms or re-entering data.

In its simplest use, Pocket Jobsite Inspector (PJI)  enables you to create your own inspection forms, download them to your Pocket PC, perform inspections in the field using a Pocket PC, upload the results of your inspections, and run reports.  But PJI is much more than that (see Full Feature List).  PJI enables you to inspect anything in your organization by yourself, or with teams of inspectors all sharing a common set of forms and data.  You can perform your inspections while in the field without having to be connected to anything, then later you can synchronize via a wireless connection or via the device's docking station to upload your inspections and pictures.

No other product offers the level of flexibility and sophistication for creating inspection forms, questionnaires, checklists, audit forms and surveys for the Pocket PC. And with all this sophistication, Pocket Jobsite Inspector PRO is very affordable and easy to use.  Starting at only $500, Pocket Jobsite Inspector is priced for even the smallest of budgets.

Pocket Jobsite Inspector has been developed on the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework for the Pocket PC 2002, 2003, 2003 SE, Mobile 5.0, and Mobile 6.0 platforms. The desktop and server components were developed using Microsoft .NET technology and operate on Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Windows Vista computers.  To PDAge that means rapid development of advanced solutions. To our clients it means power, flexibility, and interoperability with existing systems

Other Products
PDAge has developed a number of products over the years to meet a variety of customers' needs.  These products can be easily tailored to your specific requirements and cost you much less than developing such solutions from scratch.  These other products are described below.

Punchlist - PDAge built a punchlist application that enables quality inspectors and superintendents to perform punchlist walk-through inspections and update scheduling information into Primavera.  This product is being used by one of the nation's largest home builders, K. Hovnanian Homes.

Equipment Inspections - PDAge built an inspection application using barcode scanner Pocket PC devices (Motorola) that enables users to conduct scheduled maintenance inspections of equipment.  This product is being used by Exxon/Mobil to conduct periodic inspections of fire alarm equipment at their headquarters facility.

Scheduling - PDAge built several scheduling products for a number of customers.  They each operate similarly in that the products integrate with existing back-end scheduling systems and provide field users the ability to view and even update schedules via a Pocket PC.  PDAge also built a back-end scheduling system for a local home builder (Homes By Towne) which integrates with their financial system, and of course enables field users to update schedules with their Pocket PCs.

Dispatching System - PDAge built a system that enables a dispatcher in a high-volume inspection environment to perform his or her tasks in an efficient manner.  This product is being used by ABS Inspection Group and Neil Anderson & Associates.

More Barcode Products - PDAge has built a number of applications using Pocket PCs with built-in barcode scanners and Pocket PCs using barcode scanner attachments.  One such application used by a fueling company enabled fuel truck drivers to document the refueling of rented equipment by scanning a barcode label affixed near the filler pipe.  The driver would simply scan, verify customer data, enter type and quantity of fuel, and record meter readings onto the Pocket PC.

HOA Inspector - PDAge built a system for HOA and property managers that enables them to perform CC&R compliance inspections using handheld devices.  Inspectors can simply click on a plat image on their device to view violation history or enter new violations.  This product is offered as both an ASP solution and an extranet product by Reef Point Technology.

Digital Jobsite - PDAge built a suite of products that enable customers in the large commercial construction industry to perform inspections, scheduling and other contractual tasks using handheld devices.  This product suite is offered by PDAge's partner, PMA Consultants.
